Stuart Free, Artist
Stuart Free has created over two hundred large-scale dramatic paintings of London's urban landscape. He is particularly stimulated by buildings that are neglected and run-down. Possessing melancholic intrigue, these dishevelled locations revealed colourful pasts to Stuart and the discovery of these allegories and narratives evoked a deep sense of respect and belonging.
Working with an an existing design, Momo developed a back end that allows Stuart to manage the images of his paintings on the site, as well as info about the paintings and the site's text. We implemented the site using Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and JavaScript.
